Overview

This 13-day adventure in northern Pakistan offers an unforgettable skiing experience combined with breathtaking landscapes and cultural exploration. Starting with your arrival in Islamabad, you will fly to either Skardu or Gilgit and enjoy a scenic stay in the picturesque town of Gilgit. From there, you'll head to Naltar, renowned for its world-class skiing, before continuing on to the stunning Hunza Valley. A 4x4 ride and hike will take you to the base camp in Nagar Khas, where you will spend several days skiing amidst some of the most beautiful mountain terrains. After enjoying the slopes, you'll relax in the charming towns of Aliabad or Karimabad, before driving to Skardu for your final stay. Your journey concludes with a flight back to Islamabad and your onward departure. This itinerary blends exhilarating skiing with the natural and cultural splendor of Pakistan's northern region.

Itinerary At Glance

  • Day 11: Drive to Skardu overnight in hotel Skardu

  • Day 12: Skardu-Islamabad fly

  • Day 12/ 13: Drop off at Islamabad airport fly home

    Notes For the Trip

    If flights to Skardu from Islamabad are canceled, be prepared for a 12 to 14-hour road journey via Islamabad Naran Hunza.

    Any additional services beyond the itinerary or possible changes during the tour will incur extra charges, and these changes should be discussed with the guide beforehand.

    Road conditions vary in this part of the mountains. This may result in longer travel times. In case of unavoidable road blockage that prevents travel, we will be responsible for managing your lodging and food during this extra time. However, you will need to cover the expenses for the extra days.

    This location has options of Back country/Ski mountaineering (climbing the terrains around the base camp with all basic required equipment i.e. touring skies, hammer, ice screws, rope, harness, beacon prop, shovel etc.)
