This trek to Shishper base camp involves crossing on and off Shishper glacier, a route that is parallel to the wild beauty of Muchuwar valley. This is a advanced level trek that requires skill and endurance but worth choosing adventurers are rewarded with unparallel views and feel connected to the lands untouched landscapes and history. Besides a paradise for trekkers Shishper meadow is also a sanctuary for wildlife, home to significant population of Himalayan Ibex and Snow leopards.
This is firsthand knowledge of experience by team Magpie Tours being a adventure travel agency of this very region, that the distinct Snow leopard roams freely in this rugged terrain making it as one of their prime hunting grounds where they stalk Himalayan Ibex on the steep and rocky slopes. Lucky enough, trekkers may get the chance of sightings or may walk across traces of these animals which adds a thrilling moment of the trekker. The Landscapes and natural beauty of Shishper meadow is only matched by the wildlife encounters that await adventurous visitors.
