Rush lake is known as one of the highest alpine lakes in the world is located in Nagar region of North Pakistan at an elevation of 4,650 meters (15,255ft). The trekking route to Rush Lake therefore is also one of the most rewarding high-altitude trekking experiences in Pakistan, ideal for experienced trekkers seeking mix of dramatic mountain landscapes, glacial travel and authentic cultural experience in the Karakoram region.

The logistics and all-inclusive arrangements organized by Magpie Tours Pakistan, this 12-day trekking journey begins in capital city of Pakistan Islamabad, with a scenic drive through Naran or Besham along Karakoram Highway to Hunza valley. On Second day in Hunza valley, you will be doing acclimatization walks around Borith lake, Passu Glacier, and Duiker view point area which will allow trekkers to slowly adjust to altitude while enjoying the amazing landscapes with Peaks, With Hotel accommodation for first two nights, we then drive 90 minutes to the trail head which is at end point of Hopper village and with view point of Hopper glacier. Start the trek with traversing of the Hopper Glacier and keeps ascending through remote camps such as Berichokore (3,300m) and Chidin Harai (4,450m) before reaching the turquoise waters of Rush Lake. Trekkers are rewarded from the camp with panoramic views of Spantik (Golden Peak), Ultar Sar, Malubiting, and Passu cones a high light for photographers and serious mountain enthusiasts.

This moderate to challenging trek involves glacier crossings, long trekking days and high-altitude camping and is best for trekkers in good physical fitness and prior hiking experience. This route usually has very few other groups which also makes an experience with unspoiled landscapes. Concluding same with some alternative sections of descend it conclude back in Hunza valley with few days for relaxation and cultural excursion before returning to Islamabad.
