Northern Pakistan is a gathering place for high mountains of the world, including the Himalaya, Karakoram, and Pamir Mountain Ranges. With 108 snow-capped peaks over 7,000 meters high, it forms a spectacular mountainous landscape, attracting mountaineers from all over the world to attempt their summit. It is also a favorite destination for adventurous travelers.
This itinerary features the classic high mountain trekking base camps in northern Pakistan, namely Fairy Meadows (3300m) which offers a close-up view of the Nanga Parbat peak (8126m), and Tagaphari camp (3500m) located at the base of the Rakaposhi peak (7788m). Between our trekking, we will be traveling through the world-renowned Hunza Valley, a crossroads on the Silk Road connecting Central and South Asia since ancient times, often known as the hidden “Shangri-La.”
At an altitude of 2,500 meters, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and green valleys, you can feast your senses in the endless mountain ranges, glacier-supplied rivers, historical castles and settlements. This is the place that inspired Hayao Miyazaki's famous anime "Nausicaä Valley of the Wind," and also a pure paradise that fills the spirit and hearts of mountain-loving travelers.
